Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home. With consent of both the counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2 . The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not passing any orders on the application dated 27.07.2015 made by the petitioner for transfer of 'B' form licence in his name pursuant to the registered lease agreement dated 06.04.2015 as illegal and arbitrary.

3. The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though he made an application seeking transfer of 'B' form licence, till date no orders are passed by the authorities concerned.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that if such representation is still pending, the respondent authorities shall decide the same in accordance with law at the earliest.

5. Having regard to the circumstances stated above, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the application dated 27.07.2015 made by the petitioner seeking transfer of 'B' form licence in his name, if the same is still pending consideration, in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
