Heard the counsel for petitioner, and Sri N. Vasudeva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking payment of certain retiral benefits from the respondents since the petitioner had retired on 31.03.2015.

The learned Standing Counsel for respondents, Sri N. Vasudeva Reddy, has obtained instructions and also a Cheque bearing No.501476 dt.17.12.2016, drawn on State Bank of Hyderabad, Sangareddy Branch for a sum of Rs.7,66,346/-, representing the difference of Gratuity on Revised Pay Scale, 2013, Terminal Benefits, Settlement Salary and 100% Arrears on Revised Pay Scale, 2013, after deducting the Tax Deducted at Source (T.D.S.), and handed over the same to the counsel for petitioner.

Since the grievance of petitioner is thus redressed, the Writ Petition is closed.

However, the petitioner's claim for an identity card for utilizing medical facilities may be pursued by petitioner with 1st respondent, and if an application in that regard is made by petitioner, the

respondent nos.1 and 2 shall consider the same in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. 7.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
