HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 42415 OF 2016 ORDER:
Alleging that the respondent Corporation is proposing to widen the road and threatening to demolish the property of the petitioners without following the due process, the present Writ Petition is filed.
On instructions, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents submits that as of now no decision is taken by the Corporation to widen the road in front of the petitioners' property and he would further submit that as an when decision is taken to widen the road, due procedure would be followed for acquiring the property of the petitioners for public purpose. Recording the above submission, the Writ petition is disposed of. It is also open to the property owners to voluntarily negotiate to acquire their property by the Municipal Corporation for widening of roads. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
