HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No.2113 of 2017 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 02.3.2017 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.3588 of 2017. By the said order, the respondent was directed to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, for changing the entries in the revenue records in respect of the subject lands, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Counter-affidavit is filed by the respondent stating that in pursuance of the aforesaid order passed by this Court, proceedings vide Proc.No.E1/D1/6245/2017 dated 05.02.2018 were issued by the Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy District, directing the Tahsildar, Gandipet Mandal, to record the lands as defence/government lands in the relevant columns of the revenue records in Sy.No.96/11 admeasuring Acs.27.

22 guntas situated at Bandlaguda Village prior to the year 2003-04 after duly verifying the physical possession and all relevant records and giving opportunity to all the interested persons. A copy of the said proceedings is enclosed to the counter-affidavit. No reply-affidavit is filed by the petitioners contradicting the aforesaid averments in the counter-affidavit. Today, though the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation for the petitioners.

In the light of the above proceedings and in view of the facts and circumstances, I do not see any violation of the aforesaid order of this Court by the respondent.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed granting liberty to the petitioners to challenge the aforesaid proceedings, if they so choose, in accordance with law. No order as to costs. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 25th October, 2019 dr
