HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 2210 and 2228 of 2017 COMMON ORDER:

These Contempt Cases are filed alleging noncompliance of the common order of this Court, in W.P.Nos.36199 and 36597 of 2016 dated 27.10.2016. Considering the grievance of the petitioners, and their specific prayer in the writ petitions that their representation dated 15.09.2016, submitted on 01.09.2014, was not disposed of, this Court directed the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) to consider the petitioners' representation within a period of twelve weeks from the date of passing of the order. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent - VUDA had placed before this Court proceedings dated 18.11.2017 disposing of the petitioners representation rejecting their claim.

The order being confined only to disposal of the representation of the petitioners, the order of this Court has been complied with. If the petitioners are otherwise aggrieved, they may approach for appropriate relief. The Contempt Cases are, accordingly, closed. No order as to costs.
