HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO W.P.No.42511 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Education appearing for 1st respondent and Sri G.Seenakumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for 2nd respondent.

Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner had given a representation on 01-08-2018 to the 1st respondent seeking promotion to the post of Executive Engineer for the panel year 2017-18 and that the 1st respondent has not considered the same. 3.

Petitioner relies on G.O.Ms.No.257 General Administration (Ser.C) Department dt.10-06-1999, which permits consideration of cases of eligible employees having disciplinary enquiries/Criminal Cases to higher posts, in support of his said plea. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Education appearing for 1st respondent as well as Sri G.Seena Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for 2nd respondent state that the 1st respondent will decide the representation of the petitioner within six weeks and communicate his decision to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner within six weeks and communicate his decision to the petitioner. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
