THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.No.2 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.12574 of 2018 ORDER :

The petitioner is the accused in Cr.No.217 of 2018 of the Peddapudi Police Station, Pedapudi, East Godavari district, registered for the offences punishable under Section 324 IPC on the report of the 2nd respondent-defacto-complainant.

Both the petitioner and the defacto-complainant along with their counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.No.2 of 2018 to compromise the matter and compound the offence. In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.No.2 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioner/ accused in Cr.No.217 of 2018 of the Peddapudi Police Station, Pedapudi, East Godavari district. The petitioner/ accused is acquitted and his bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
