This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings issued by the 2nd respondent in Draft Memo No.G2/19134/2011, dated 0112-2011 instructing the concerned Sub-Registrars to follow the interim injunction orders of High Court of Madras. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in similar circumstances, this Court has allowed WP.No.38621 of 2018, dated 26-10-2018.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. In view of the same, for the reasons alike in the said order, this writ petition is also allowed. The impugned memo is set aside. There shall be a consequential direction to the Sub-Registrar, Podili to receive and process the document presented by the petitioner in respect of the subject property without reference to the memo dated 01-12-2011. In the event, the document presented is found to fulfill the requirements of the Registration Act, 1908 and the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, the Sub-Registrar, Podili shall complete the registration formalities and release the document in accordance with due procedure. If he is not intending to register the same, he shall record reasons and communicate the same to the parties. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
