THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.11975 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

2. The petitioner had filed an appeal before the 3rd respondent under Section 4-A of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 on 11.06.2010. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said appeal had not been disposed of till date by the 3rd respondent.

3. Learned Government Pleader for Assignments appearing for respondents 1 to 4 states that the 3rd respondent will pass orders in the said appeal in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
