This Contempt Case is filed alleging non-implementation of order dated 07.06.2016 passed in W.P.No.12756 of 2016. 2.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation produced before this Court the order dated 16.11.2017 rejecting the case of the petitioner on the ground that the case of the petitioner does not fall under any of the disabilities covered by Section 2 (i) of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995. 3.

In view of the same, it is open to the petitioner to take further steps in accordance with law, but Contempt Case proceedings cannot be continued.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
