THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition Nos.12581 and 12582 of 2018 COMMON ORDER :
The petitioners in both the Criminal Petitions are A.1 to A.4 in both the Crimes 623 of 2018 of Machavaram Police Station, Vijayawada, registered for the offence punishable u/ Sec.406 IPC and in Cr.No.656 of 2018 of KPHB colony Police Station, Cyberabad, Hyderabad registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.498-A and 406IPC and Sec.3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, on the report of the self-same 2nd respondent/ defacto complainant.
The petitioners-A.1 to A.4 and the defacto-complainant along with their counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 in both the cases to compromise the matter and compound the offence.
In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 in both the Criminal Petitions are allowed. Consequently, both the Criminal Petitions are also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.4 in both the Crimes 623 of 2018 of Machavaram Police Station, Vijayawada, registered for the offence punishable u/ Sec.406 IPC and in Cr.No.656 of 2018 of KPHB colony Police Station, Cyberabad, Hyderabad registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.498-A and 406IPC and Sec.3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioners/ A.1 to A.4 are acquitted and
their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
