HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No.38339 of 2017 Order:

Heard party-in-person and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-TSRTC.

The petitioner was appointed as a Conductor in the year 2010. Now a charge memo was issued to the petitioner on 18.10.2017 alleging certain cash and ticket irregularities committed while performing his duties on route Nizamabad to Bhainsa on 18.10.2017. The petitioner submitted an explanation to the said charge memo and after considering the explanation, he was kept under suspension on 26.10.2017. Along with the order of suspension, a charge sheet was also issued to the petitioner. Challenging the same, the present Writ Petition is filed. Since the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is directed against the order of suspension which was passed after considering the explanation and the enquiry is pending, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the enquiry process at this stage and the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible, but not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by giving appropriate opportunity to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
