Sri M. Ravindra, learned counsel for the appellant, seeks permission to withdraw the present Appeal stating that the matter was compromised and settled outside the Court.

In fact, there is no appearance for the respondent. Permission is accorded, and, accordingly the Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the Appeal shall stand closed.
