Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not issuing dispatch permits to the petitioner and blocking e-mail account of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the show-cause notice dated 15.02.2018, which was received by the petitioner on 17.03.2018, the petitioner has submitted explanation on 27.03.2018. However, no order has been passed by the respondents till date.

On instructions, the learned Government Pleader submits that as on today no order is passed and necessary orders would be passed.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to pass appropriate orders, pursuant to the show-cause dated 15.02.2018 and explanation dated 27.03.2018, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within ten days from today. If no order is passed within ten days, the
respondent authorities shall issue dispatch permits to the petitioner in accordance with law. No order as to costs. 6.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this appeal shall stand closed.
