Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.4 in not disposing the appeal case No.A/2445/2015, filed by the petitioner for cancellation of the proceedings D.Dis.No.B1/2031/2009, dated 15.02.2010, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to rectify the entries in the revenue records. 4.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he filed the appeal in the year 2015, but till date the same has not been disposed of.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that if the said appeal is still pending, the same may be directed to be disposed of.

In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-authorities to dispose of the appeal No. A/2445/2015, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
