THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.9032 OF 2016 O R D E R :
Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.
2. Petitioner's grievance is that an appeal filed by him under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Estates (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act, 1948 was decided by the Collector-3rd respondent and a Revision preferred against the same is pending before the 1st respondent.
3. Petitioner contends that the case was circulated to the Hon'ble Chief Minister in the year 2014 and a decision was taken by him that the matter would be heard again, in the light of the records produced by the petitioner as well as the records of the revenue department, by the Principal Secretary, Revenue, and he will dispose of the same as per the delegation order given by the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister in G.O.Rt.No.830, Revenue (O.P-I) Department, dt.19.09.2014.
4. Now the petitioner in this Writ Petition seeks a personal hearing in the said Revision, before the 1st respondent passing an order as per the decision of the Hon'ble Chief Minister.
5.
The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that the 1st respondent will provide a personal hearing before deciding the Revision filed by the petitioner. 6.
In this view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to provide a personal hearing to the petitioner in the Revision filed by him, against the orders of the 3rd
respondent, and pass orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
