Heard Sri A. Jagan, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 to 3. It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as Conductor in the year 2007 and on 13.07.2017 he was allotted duty at respondent No.3 depot and after allotting the duty, he checked up the TIMS and when the bus was coming out from the bus depot, the colleague of the petitioner by name G. Naveen Kumar, who belonged to other trade union and who was not on duty, came to his bus and dragged him to the bus station and beat him with his chappal and abused him in the name of his caste. On the said incident, the petitioner lodged a complaint to the respondents specifically stating that the said G. Naveen Kumar, who was on leave, came to the bus station and beat him while he was on duty and in spite of the same, the Order of suspension was passed on 21.07.2017. Challenging the said Order, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the said G. Naveen Kumar also gave a complaint and on the complaint of the petitioner as well as the said Naveen Kumar, both

were kept under suspension and enquiry is going on. Since the order of suspension was issued on 21.07.2017 and three months have already elapsed, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition. However, the respondents shall complete the enquiry, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than Six months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
