This writ petition is filed assailing the in-action on the part of the 3rd respondent in considering the appeal being Appeal No.6 of 2016 filed by the petitioner under Section 4-A of the AP Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977, as being illegal and arbitrary and for issuance of appropriate consequential directions, in the interest of justice.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Asst. Government Pleader for Revenue.
3. Petitioner's counsel states that under the guise of the order passed by the 4th respondent, the respondents are trying to dispossess the petitioner from the land in question and hence, the appeal on the file of the 3rd respondent is to be disposed of expeditiously to secure the ends of justice.
4. Inasmuch as the petitioner is seeking for disposal of the appeal pending on the file of the 3rd respondent, without
expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, after issuing notice to all concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till disposal of the appeal by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner shall not be dispossessed from the land in question.
