THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.12677 of 2018 ORDER :
The petitioners are the A.1 to A.4 in SC&ST.S.C.No.125 of 2018 on the file of the Judge of the Spl.Court for Trial of Cases under SCs &STs(POA) Act, Rajamahendravaram, outcome of Cr.No.116 of 2016 of Tuni Police Station registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.3(1)®(s), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) amended Act, 2015(for short, 'the Act') on the report of the defacto-complainants/ respondents 2 and 3.
Both the parties along with their counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 to compromise the matter and compound the offence.
In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.4 in SC&ST.S.C.No.125 of 2018 on the file of the Judge of the Spl.Court for Trial of Cases under SCs &STs(POA) Act, Rajamahendravaram. The petitioners/ A.1 to A.4 are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
