HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.42954 of 2018 ORDER :
The case of the petitioner is that she prepared sale deed through online for purchase of subject property and also paid stamp duty and registration fee through online. But, when the said document is presented for registration, the 3rd respondent is demanding payment of further amounts towards stamp duty and registration fee. It is her case that the land is classified as dry land and she paid the charges as per the demand note generated in the website, but the document is kept pending registration in P72/2017. Being aggrieved of the same, the present writ petition is filed.
Heard learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
Since it is stated by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner has already filed explanation to the show cause notice, the competent authority shall consider the same and take action in accordance with law, and pass orders for registering and releasing the document, if it is otherwise in order as per the provisions of the Indian Stamp Act and Registration Act.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
