ORAL ORDER:

This Court by order dated 14.3.2017 in WPMP No. 6714 of 2017 in W P No. 5505 of 2017 issued following directions: "Since order of revision of remuneration is in force, it is necessary for the respondents to ensure the provision is made to meet the expenditure and steps should be taken to ensure that the amounts are made available to make payments as per the enhanced remuneration." 2.

Alleging that the said directions are not complied and enhanced remuneration is not paid, this contempt case is filed. According to learned counsel for petitioners, petitioners are entitled to enhanced remuneration of Rs.12,000/- per month as against Rs.6,000/- granted and the enhanced remuneration amount is not paid as sufficient financial arrangement is not made.

In the counter affidavit, it is stated that petitioners were being paid monthly remuneration of Rs.3000/- which was subsequently enhanced to Rs.6000/- and in G.O.Rt No. 144 dated 31.8.2017 Government enhanced the remuneration to parttime instructors from Rs.6,000/- to Rs.9,000/- per month from 1.9.2017 onwards and they have been paid Rs.9,000/- per month as per the said decision taken by the Government. 4.

There is no direction issued by the Court to pay the enhanced remuneration at the rate of Rs.12,000/- per month as sought to be contended. Court only directed to make financial provision for releasing enhanced amount of remuneration. 5.

In view of the same, no case is made out for initiating the contempt proceedings under Contempt of Courts Act. Accordingly, contempt case is closed. No costs. __________________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE:4.1.2018
