THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.39087 of 2017 ORDER:

The petitioner was appointed as a Conductor and while he was conducting the service on 01.11.2017 on route Godavarikhani to Kotkoor on bus No.TS 02 UKB 6284, the bus was checked at Karimnagar Bus Station, stage No.17, at 8.10 hours. Certain cash and ticket irregularities were noticed in the check. Accordingly, a charge sheet was issued on 04.11.2017 with three charges and the petitioner was also kept under suspension on the same day. Challenging the order of suspension, the present Writ Petition is filed. Since the allegations relate to cash and ticket irregularities for which the petitioner was kept under suspension, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the enquiry process at this stage, as the said allegation has to be enquired into.

In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to submit his explanation within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and on receipt of the same, the respondents shall proceed with the enquiry and complete the same in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the explanation.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________________ (A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J) 20.11.2017 vs
