ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies.

According to petitioner, his father was kerosene hawker vide authorization No. 3, Billapadu village, Tallada mandal, Khammam district. Said authorization granted to his father is valid till 31.12.2019. Petitioner's father died on 13.2.2018. After demise of his father, petitioner submitted application dated 3.10.2018 to grant the kerosene dealership in his name by placing reliance on scheme formulated by the Government vide G.O.Ms.No. 4 Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies (CS-I) Department Dated 28.2.2014 and the same is pending. Alleging inaction, this writ petition is filed.

Since application submitted by the petitioner is stated to be pending, without expressing any opinion, respondents are directed to consider the said application for grant of hawker license, if petitioner satisfies the requirements of G O Ms No. 4 dated 28.2.2014. A decision shall be taken and communicated to petitioner within eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
