- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2402 OF 2017 ORDER :

The grievance of the petitioner necessiating institution of writ petition was that he has contributed extra amount towards Employees Pension Scheme, 1995. Therefore, on retirement he was entitled to the higher monthly pension, but the same was not paid and a representation to that effect was made. 2.

Having regard to these facts, the Writ Petition was disposed of directing respondents 2 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass orders. Alleging non-compliance by the authorities of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, this contempt is filed.

Learned Standing counsel for the respondent-Corporation, produced proceedings of the Corporation dated 18.12.2017 whereunder, it is stated that under the EPS-95, the RTC has no role and if there is any grievance regarding non-payment of appropriate pension under the EPS-95, petitioner has to approach the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner's Office, Barkatpura, Hyderabad.

Having regard to the decision already made and communicated, it cannot be said that the respondents have violated the direction of this Court.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
