THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.42949 of 2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleaders for Revenue and Social Welfare, apart from perusing the material available on record.

According to the petitioner, her father one Sri Rodda Sriramulu, who is no more now, along with one Sri Allu Narsaiah, suffered an order passed by the Settlement Officer, Venkatapuram Unit, Head Quarters, Bhadrachalam, in Case No.1382, dated 04.03.1982. The subject-matter of the Writ Petition is the land in Sy.No.18/1 of Arunachalapuram villalge, Wazeedu Mandal, Jayashanker Bhupalapally District. By way of the above said order, dated 04.03.1982, the Settlement Officer, Venkatapuram Unit disallowed the claim of the father of the petitioner and another for grant of ryotwari patta. According to the petitioner, she is in possession and enjoyment of the said land and raising agricultural crops such as paddy etc.

, It is further stated that, in view of lack of knowledge of passing of the above said order by the Settlement Officer, the appeal remedy could not be availed immediately and that she filed an appeal before the fourth respondent on 17.07.2018, assailing the order, dated 04.03.1912, and that she also filed a stay application apart from an application to condone the delay of 12965 days in filing the appeal before the fourth respondent. The grievance of the petitioner, in the above background, is the alleged inaction on the part of the fourth respondent in passing orders on the said appeal, despite lapse of considerable length of time.

appeal, dated 17.07.2018, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the disposal of the appeal depends on the outcome of the disposal of the said applications. It is further made clear that, till orders are passed on the delay and stay applications, status quo, as on today, with regard to possession of the subject property, shall be maintained.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
