This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C by the petitioners/ A1 to A3, to direct the Station House Officer, Orvakal Police Station, Kurnool District, to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. in connection with Crime No.160 of 2018 of Orvakal Police Station, Kurnool District. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and perused the material on record.

As none of the offences are punishable above seven years, in the event of any necessity of arrest of the petitioners in the above crime, police bound to follow Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines of the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v.
