HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.36336 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.98 of 2015 on the file of the 3rd respondent. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that the 4th respondent, who is working as Home Guard had lodged a false complaint against them supporting one G. Ramesh, who torn the dress of A4 in the above crime and that A4 in the above crime lodged a complaint but the same was registered only after registration of the complaint given by the 4th respondent.

The petitioners filed this writ petition challenging the investigation in the above crime. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation in the above crime. However, considering the grievance of the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on merits, respondents Nos.2 and 3 are directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioners. 5.
