ORDER:
In this writ petition very brief averments are made without elaborating on how the issue would arise in the year 2018 for renewal of fair price shop dealership authorization. According to paragraph-2 of the affidavit filed in support of writ petition, petitioner claims that she was the fair price shop dealer of shop no.29 of Punnavalli village. It appears, the authorization expired in the year 2009, but she did not apply for renewal within the time prescribed by clause 5(9) of the A.P.State Public Distribution System (Control) Order 2008. It appears, in the year 2015 she made an attempt for continuation of renewal. The Tahsildar called for information from the petitioner on the earlier licence granted to her and the relevant documents in support of licence granted. It appears, petitioner failed to submit the material as required by the Tahsildar and kept quiet till November, 2018. On 03.11.2018, petitioner submitted representation for granting of renewal for the fair price shop and alleging inaction on the said representation, this writ petition is filed.

Prima facie, it cannot be said that there is inaction as application for renewal was made only on 03.11.2018. Be that as it may, even according to bald averments made in the affidavit filed in support of writ petition, it appears that fair price shop dealership authorization expired in the year 2009. It is not open to petitioner to seek renewal/continuation of authorization after nine years. There is no manner of vested right in a dealer to claim renewal as and when she/he chooses to ask for renewal at his
convenience and pace. Writ Petition merits no consideration, and is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
