HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.27563 of 2016 ORDER:

Grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that his application dated 04-12-2013 for allotment of the agricultural land being an ex-service man is not being considered by the respondents and no orders have been passed till date, in spite of the letter dated 12-12-2013 issued by the Zilla Sainik Welfare Office, Guntur, recommending allotment of agricultural land to him.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Asst. Government Pleader for Revenue.

3. It is stated by learned Asst. Government Pleader for Revenue that an endorsement dated 23-12-2013 was issued by the office of the 2nd respondent-District Collector, Guntur District, stating that no Government lands available for assignment in surrounding areas of Guntur district and the petitioner was advised to choose any other place, except Guntur for taking further action in the matter.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner be permitted to make a fresh application suggesting alternate land for allotment in the light of the endorsement dated 23-12-2013.

5. In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to make fresh application for allotment of agricultural land and on such an application being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed

to dispose of the same and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the writ petition shall also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
