Gunisetty Chandramouli, v. State Of Andhra Pradesh,
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39236 of 2016 ORDER:
1.
This writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the official respondents not to interfere in any manner with their personal life and liberty. 2.
Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
The 6th respondent is the mother of the 2nd petitioner. The 2nd petitioner is the wife of the 1st petitioner. The grievance of the petitioners is that respondents Nos.6 and 7 forced them to clear off all their debts and as they refused, they made false allegations against the petitioners. At the instance of respondents Nos.6 and 7, respondents Nos.3 to 5 are calling the petitioners to the police station and harassing them, without there being any crime.
4.
Considering the circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:
"The official respondents are directed not to call the petitioners to the police station, without there being any crime. However, it is made clear that this order does not stand in the way of the official respondents, if any case is registered against the petitioners for any cognizable offence."
There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
