THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2334 of 2017 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging non-implementation of order, dated 21.12.2016, passed by this Court in W.P.No.29115 of 2012. This Court passed the said order based on the earlier order in W.P.No.31524 of 2010, dated 13.12.2013. The order, dated 13.12.2013, is extracted in the order passed subsequently. The petitioners came to this Court for completion of proceedings initiated under the Land Acquisition Act and for passing an Award pursuant to Notifications, dated 15.12.2007 and 19.12.2008. 2.

Now, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no Award is passed as of today. If no Award is passed, it cannot be alleged that the order of this Court was violated. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that since the material furnished by the petitioners was rejected, it has to be assumed that the order was violated. But, until an award is passed, it cannot be examined whether the relevant material was taken into consideration by the Land Acquisition Officer or not. 3.

In the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present Contempt Case and accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this case shall stand closed. No costs.
