THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.3172 OF 2016

O R D E R

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: 'To issue a writ or order or direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to Declare the inaction of the Respondent No.1 in not registering the FIR (First Information Report) against the Respondent Nos.5 to 7 as arbitrary, illegal, infringement of Sections 154 & 157 of Cr.P.C. and unconstitutional, violation of principle of Natural Justice. Consequently, direct the Respondent Nos.1 to 3 to register the Crime against the Respondent Nos.5 to 8 and their henchmen forthwith and pass such other order or orders as deem fit in the interest of the justice.'

Written instructions dated 15.02.2016 were furnished by the Station House Officer, Hanuman Junction Police Station, Krishna District, to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that upon the petitioner's complaint dated 30.01.2016 which was received through post, Crime No.34 of 2016 was registered under Sections 406 and 420 IPC read with Section 34 IPC. Investigation was stated to have commenced.

In the light of the afore-stated developments, the grievance of the petitioner stands settled. The writ petition is accordingly closed.
