O R D E R

Petitioner is a registered evening daily news paper and it is represented by its editor. Its case is that it made representation dated 09.02.2018 to the 2nd respondent - Deputy Commissioner, Department of Right to Information, for issuance of accreditation cards to its reporters in terms of G.O.Ms.No.96 General Administration (I & PR) Department dated 08.03.2006. As no action has been taken, petitioner again made representation dated 07.06.2018 to the 3rd respondent - Commissioner. In spite of the same, as no action has been taken for issuance of accreditation cards, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, 2nd respondent / competent authority is directed to dispose of the above referred applications stated to have been made by the petitioner for issuance of accreditation cards in terms of G.O.Ms.No.96 dated 08.03.2006 and take action in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
