This writ petition is filed assailing the action of the respondents in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2016 in terms of proceedings in Rc.No.05/2007, dated 08.08.2015 of the 2nd respondent for construction of submerged temple in Annangi Village, Maddipadu Mandal, Prakasam District.

It is the case of the petitioner that the 2nd respondent issued proceedings in Rc.No.05/2007, dated 08.08.2015 sanctioning an amount of Rs.9,60,000/- for construction of Sri Pothuluri Veera Brahmendra Swamy Temple and directed the Superintending Engineer-3rd respondent to execute the work. Though the petitioner made representation dated 23.07.2016 to take up the reconstruction work of the subject temple, no action is being taken. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation-3rd respondent. Since the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2016 is pending with the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the said representation and take action within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 23.01.2017 kvs
