This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not taking any action against the respondent Nos.5 and 6 as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj, learned Government Pleader for Revenue and learned standing counsel for Pahnchayat Raj.

The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the house bearing Door No.1-127, Sivalayam Street, Ardhavaram village, Ganapavaram Mandal, West Godavari District. It is the case of the petitioner that the road in question was laid 100 years back. It is the further case of the petitioner that the respondents 5 and 6 are keeping gravel on the public road with an ulterior motive to cause inconvenience to the petitioner and others.

A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioner submitted a representation to the 3rd respondent on 29-08-2016 with a request to remove gravel on the public road. For one reason or the other, the 3rd respondent has not disposed of the representation of the petitioner. 5.

At the time of arguments, the only relief sought for by the learned counsel for petitioner is to direct the 3rd respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 29-08-2016 as early as possible. Learned Government Pleaders and learned standing counsel also consented for the same.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also submissions made by both counsel, the 3rd respondent is directed to take appropriate action on the application of the petitioner, dated 29-08-2016 in the light of the provisions of the A.P. Panchayat Raj Act and the Rules made there under as expeditiously as possible. 7.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
