THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.36781 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not providing the seniority list of contract labourers considered for the VII stage of KTPS. The petitioners state that they got issued a notice through their Counsel on 08.06.2017 seeking the said information and in spite of the same, when no information is furnished to the petitioners, they filed the present Writ Petition.

The information sought can be obtained under the Right to Information Act, as it is not a confidential information and the provisions of the Right to Information Act can be invoked by the petitioners for the present grievance.

In view of the same, giving liberty to the petitioners to obtain the information under the Right to Information Act, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
