ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Raghvendra Singh Chauhan) The present contempt petition has been filed, ostensibly, on the ground that the judgment dated 11.02.2016, passed by a learned Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.3816 of 2016, has not been complied with by the alleged contemnors.

By the said judgment, the learned Division Bench had directed the alleged contemnors to consider the representation filed by the complainant dated 21.04.2014, and to pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law.

The learned Government Pleader for Services appearing for the alleged contemnors submits that by Memo No.7860/F1/2014-15 dated 22.10.2019, the complainant's representation has been considered, and the necessary orders have been passed. However, Mr. Vijay Ashrit, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. M.V. Raja Ram, the learned counsel for the complainant, submits that the complainant is still aggrieved by the way his pay revision has been carried out. Therefore, according to the learned counsel for the complainant, contempt continues to be committed by the alleged contemnors.

Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

Since the direction issued by the learned Division Bench was merely to consider the complainant's representation, and since the representation has, indeed, been considered by the alleged contemnors, no contempt is made out. However, if the complainant continues to be aggrieved by the order dated 22.10.2019, he is free to pursue the legal remedies available to him according to the law. Therefore, the contempt petition stands disposed of. The contemnors are hereby discharged. There shall be no order as to costs.
