HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Contempt Case Nos. 621 and 622 of 2016 Common Order:

Since these two Contempt Cases arise out of a common order passed in WP Nos.27120 and 27260 of 2013, dated 08.09.2015, they are being disposed of by this common order.

2. This Court disposed of the said Writ Petitions directing the respondents to provide alternative employment to the petitioners within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and also maintain the pay scale in the time scale of the post in which they were originally working and also pay them the salaries for the interregnum period from the date on which they were initially declared unfit till they were provided with alternative employment.

3. Now after issuing notice in the contempt proceedings, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents produced before this Court the copy of proceedings dated 04.07.2016 allowing the payment of salary for the interregnum period subject to the result of the Writ Appeals filed by the Corporation. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the proceedings were issued, the respondents do not give effect to the proceedings and the Contempt Cases shall not be closed. It is needless to observe that after issuing the proceedings the respondents shall implement their own orders as expeditiously as possible and there should not be any room for further proceedings in the Contempt Cases.

4. In the circumstances, recording the issuance of

proceedings, these Contempt Cases are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in these Contempt Cases shall stand closed.
