This Criminal Revision Case is filed by the petitioner - accused to set aside the judgment dated 16.10.2015 in Crl.A.No.980 of 2014 passed by the V Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge-Cum-V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District, L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad, confirming the judgment of conviction and sentence imposed in C.C.No.450 of 2013 dated 21.11.2014 on the file of the I Special Magistrate, L.B.Nagar, R.R.District.

2. During the pendency of the present revision case, the 2nd respondent/complainant has filed I.A. Nos.1 and 2 of 2022 seeking permission to compound the offence against the petitioner and to compromise the matter by recording the terms of compromise and to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in the said Crime, since they had settled the matter out of Court.

3. Today, the complainant and the accused are present before this Court. They have filed copies of their Aadhar Cards in proof of their identity and they are identified by their respective counsel. The parties have also filed Memorandum of compromise and the Joint Memo. 2nd respondent - complainant stated that he intended to compromise the matter with the petitioner - accused on the intervention of the elders and well wishers. 4.

As such, I.A. Nos.1 and 2 of 2022 are allowed recording the compromise between the parties. The 2nd respondent - complainant submitted that he agreed to receive an amount of Rs.3,50,000/- in lieu of the cheque amount of a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- towards full and final satisfaction of the claim. Consequently, Crl.R.C.No.196 of 2016 is allowed setting aside the judgment dated 21.11.2014 in Crl.A.No.980 of 2013 passed by the V Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge-cum-V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District, L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad, wherein the appellate court confirmed the judgment of conviction and sentence imposed against the petitioner-accused in

Dr.GRR,J Crl.RC.No.196 of 2016 C.C.No.450 of 2013 dated 21.11.2014 on the file of the I Special Magistrate at L.B.Nagar, Ranga Reddy District.

5. The petitioner-accused is acquitted for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. He is directed to pay an amount of Rs.5,000/- to the High Court of Legal Services Authority within one week from the date of this order. The bail bonds of the petitioner-accused shall stand cancelled. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________ Dr. G. RADHA RANI, J September 22, 2022 SSN
