HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.37181 of 2017 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is related to an apprehension of allotment of a liquor shop in Gudur Village to a non-tribal contrary to Andhra Pradesh Panchayats Extension to Scheduled Areas (PESA) Rules, 2011, which were notified in G.O.Ms.No.66, dated 24.03.2011. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if appropriate directions are given while disposing of the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner will be redressed. Learned Government Pleader would submit that so far no allotment of liquor shop was made in Gudur Village and that the respondents are following the rules and they will also follow the rules in case of allotment of any liquor shop in Gudur Village.

Recording the submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to follow the aforestated PESA Rules while allotting any liquor shop in Gudur Village. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________________ M. SEETHARAMA MURTI, J Date: 07.11.2017 va
