THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE ANIS WRIT PETITION No. 30619 of 2016 ORDER: (Per VRS,J) The main grievance, with which the petitioner came up with the above writ petition, is that the reservation for women and reservation for backward classes was not followed strictly, in the matter of admission to MBBS course for the current year in the State. On 19.09.2016, we directed Mr. Taddi Nageswara Rao, standing counsel for the University, to take notice and get instructions. Learned standing counsel for the University submitted that the rule of reservation and reservation for women was strictly followed, and that, therefore, the grievance of the petitioner is not factually correct or justified.

It is also pertinent to note that the petitioner already secured admission to BDS course. No cases have been brought to our notice by the petitioner to establish the violation of the rule of reservation. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
