The case of the petitioner is that he was granted assignment patta of the land to an extent of Ac.5.99 cents in Survey No.376, situated in Makkinavarigudem Village in T.Narasapuram Mandal of West Godavari District through L.D.No.156/2003 on 16.07.2003 and he was also granted pattadar pass books and title deed and that he has been in continuous possession of the said land. While so, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.07.2016 to the 4th respondent for mutation of his name in online web land records being maintained by the respondents in respect of the aforesaid land. But, till today the 4th respondent has not taken any steps for mutation of the petitioner's name in the online records. Aggrieved by the same present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader produced written instructions dated 25.08.2016 stating that according to village RSR (Permanent Register) of the Makkinavarigudem village, the subject land i.e. Ac.5.99 cents in R.S.No.376 is classified as Government Poramboke

which was noted as 'surplus channel' and the petitioner is no way concerned to claim for such land.

It is to be seen that petitioner was already granted pattadar pass books and title deeds by the respondents and nothing is stated about the same in the written instructions produced by the Assistant Government Pleader. More so, it is also not stated in the written instructions whether the application of the petitioner was disposed of. In view of the same, the 4th respondent is directed to dispose of the application dated 06.07.2016 submitted by the petitioner for mutation of his name in the online records, after issuing notice to the petitioner, in accordance with law and communicate the order to the petitioner. This exercise shall be done within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
