THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2284 OF 2017 ORDER:

When the matter was called on 18.01.2018, there was no representation for the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader informed the Court that the order dated 21.04.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.No.14412 of 2017 is complied.

Having regard to the said submission, to give one opportunity, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption 'For Orders'. However, today when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 4.

A perusal of the record would show that the Court, by order dated 21.04.2017, disposed of W.P.No.14412 of 2017 directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners and to pass orders as warranted by law within a period of two months. Alleging non-compliance of the said directions, this Contempt Case is filed.

Counter affidavit is filed by the 4th respondent. Along with the counter affidavit, the 4th respondent has enclosed the speaking orders passed on 27.11.2017.

A reading of the speaking orders would show that in compliance of the directions issued by this Court on 21.04.2017, the claim of the petitioners in the representations made by them was considered and reply was furnished to them.

In view of the orders passed, as directed by this Court, it cannot be said that the respondents have violated the orders of the Court willfully land deliberately.

The Contempt Case is accordingly closed. The respondents are discharged from contempt proceedings.
