Petitioners' grievance is that they had given representations dt.29.08.2018 and dt.27.10.2018 seeking promotion to the post of Extension Officer(Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department) and that the 2nd respondent has not disposed of the same. 2.

The Government Pleader for Services-II appearing for respondents 1 to 4 states that the 2nd respondent will decide the said representations within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioners.

In view of the said submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to decide the petitioners' representations dt.29.08.2018 and dt.27.10.2018 within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioners. No order as to costs. 4.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
