HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 43329 of 2018 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in not considering the application for change of name for payment of property tax pursuant to the purchase of property through registered sale deed bearing document No.8334/ 2010, dated 19.08.2010.

2) The grievance of the petitioner is that though an application was made in the month of August, 2018, till date no orders are passed.

3) Sri Ancha Pandu Ranga Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent, would submit that if the said application is still pending consideration, the authorities may be directed to consider the said representation in accordance with law.

4) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner in the month of August, 2018, in accordance with law, at the earliest.

5) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
