This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri C.SHARAN REDDY, Advocate for the Petitioners and of the Assistant Public Prosecutor (TG) on behalf of the Respondent No.1 and of None Appeared for the Respondent No.2.

THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.128O3 of 2018 C'RDER:

This Criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal procedure by the petitioners_accused Nos.2 and 3 for quash of the proceedings against them in c.c.No.2l1 of 2017 on the file of learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate, for the olfence under Sections 498-A, 42O, 504 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry prohibition Act. Cyberabad ar Malkajgiri registered I 2.

No representation on behalfofthe petitioners. 3.

Learned Assistant public prosecutor has submitted that subsequent to filing of the Criminal petition, since no interim stay orders were granted by this court, the triar court has disposed of the case on 23.05.2O22, wherein the petitioners_ accused were acquitted of the charges leveled against them and to that extent copy of the proceedings sheet downloaded from e-courts is filed.

In view of the above submission, since the main case, against which the present criminal petition is filed, has already been disposed of, the very purpose of filing the criminal petition I

to quash the proceedings against the petitioners in c.c.No.2 r i of 2Ol7 on the file of learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Malkajgiri is defeated and thereby Criminal Petition has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed. 5.

Accordingly, the Criminal petition is dismissed AS infructuous.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
