THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.3144 of 2018 ORDER:

The present Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act stating that the respondents have willfully and deliberately disobeyed the order dated 06.11.2018, passed by this Court in W.P.No.39943 of 2018.

This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2018, disposed of W.P.No.39943 of 2018, with the following direction: " Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first petitioner, who is the owner of the vehicle JCB bearing No.JS140, to make an application before the second respondent - D.F.O., seeking release of the vehicle, in which event, the second respondent - D.F.O., shall deal with the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, on the same day. It is needless to mention that the release of the subject vehicle, shall only be pending enquiry. No order as to costs."

Today, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that nothing survives for adjudicating in the contempt case, as the vehicle has been released.

Recording the said submission, the contempt case is closed. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. No costs.
