THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION NO.22982 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in not numbering the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 20-06-2016.

2. Heard both the counsel.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent challenging the order, dated 26-05-2016 on the file of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kurnool. But, so far no number was given to the said appeal.

4. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent herein to number the appeal, if any, filed by the petitioner on 20-06-2016, if it is otherwise in order and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
