N. Premlatha, v. The State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 6149 of 2016 ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent authorities failed to take action upon her representation dated 05.08.2015.
By the said representation, the petitioner sought inclusion of her name in the list of beneficiaries under a housing scheme and for allotment of a suitable house/flat to her.
2. As the authorities are yet to apply their mind to the petitioner's representation, this Court does not propose to entertain this writ petition for adjudication on merits.
3. Sri Chatla Madhu, learned Standing Counsel for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, is also agreeable to disposal of the writ petition at the admission stage.
3. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the respondent authorities and more particularly, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, to consider the representation dated 05.08.2015 made by the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law. Thereupon, the GHMC shall take appropriate action in the matter. In the event the petitioner's request is rejected, the reasons therefor shall be recorded and duly
communicated to the petitioner. This entire exercise shall be completely expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ________________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR February 25, 2016 LMV
