SEETHARAMA MURTI Writ Petition No.32279 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The petitioner seeks production and release of her son, Thanniru Srinivas, by way of issuance of a writ of habeas corpus. According to the petitioner, her son was in the illegal custody of the police. On instructions, the learned Government Pleaders appearing for both the States informed this Court that Crime No.82 of 2016 was registered on the file of Chittoor Taluk Police Station under Sections 120-B, 447, 448, 307, 393, 324 read with Section 34 IPC along with Section 27(1)(b) of the Arms Act and the petitioner's son, Thanniru Srinivas, was arrested on 22.09.2016 in Jarkhand State in relation to the afore-stated crime. He was thereafter produced before the learned III Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Chittoor and remanded to judicial custody.

In the light of the afore-stated developments, the Writ Petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to take recourse to appropriate measures as warranted in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
